It is a requirement that ALL research on human subjects (including their tissues, data and other materials) being undertaken by staff or students in the School of Biomedical Sciences will be reviewed by the School’s Ethics Filter Committee (EFC).

There is an on-line process for submission of applications. The Chief Investigator (CI) should ensure that all the relevant documentation has been completed, including:

• RG1 (Application)
• RG2 (peer review)
• Consent form(s)
• Participant Information Sheet(s)
• Research Protocol
• Statistical Model
• CV of CI.
